Mobility C2 Novy Jiccin II European Conference: “3D printing for Promotion”
This Mobility C2 Czech Republic has been configurated as the 2nd European Congress: “3D printing & scanning aplied to Online Marketing” of the Project : Promotion in Motion with code 2022-1-CZ01-KA210-000081871
In this congress, Teachers and students from the differents schools of the Erasmus project participated in the following activities : cultural activities, formation sessions , exhibitions and Working Sessions.
This Mobility is Planned for 05/06/2022. to 09-12/2023 in Nový Jičín – Czech Republic

09:00 Welcoming at the school, planning of the week
Mendelova ss team gave us a wonderfull and warm welcome to Spanish and Hungarian Students and teachers. Mrs. Lucie H., Mendelova ss principal, and Mrs Svatava O., PIM Project coordinator, addressed us some kind words about our stay in Novy Jicin.

One of the objetives of the project is to make students create presentations in prezzi about companies with two purpouses. first, improve the marketing competence in our students, and seccond help and create links of collaboration bewteen enterprises and the schools.

10:00 Tour around the school competition
Host Students from Mendelova SS prepared a funny competition for guest spanish and Hungarian Students where they have to make some funny activities as
- –> Try to say some czech “tongue twister” for non czech speakers 😉
- –> Learn essential words (thanks, hello , bye … ) in czech
- –> Probe some “strange” delicatessen of the czech cocine.
- –> Learn some of the most important subjects in the high school

13:30 Welcoming at the town hall
Our students were very lucky to assist a welcoming tour in the historic building of the town hall of Novi Jicin where an expert explained us the most important points like the historic clock or the history of the town.
14:00 Visit the Historical tower
One of the points from where one visitor can discover all the interenting points of novy Jivin is its Historical tower unluckily not many persons are allowed to climb there. Our students were very lucky as they could visit the Historical tower in the raftop of the city hall.

The best way to discover a place is with an activity NJ Team organized a contest where students had to take a selfie in the most importants turistic points of the town

Teachers visited Stramberk where assited to a bakery workshop with the chef of the bakery Cukrárna U Hezounů (http://www.usiodhezounu.cz/) who is one of the partners of the project.

08:30 Workshop 3D Modeling in Tinkercad
Mr. Glogar (IT profesor of Mendelova SS) developed a workshop for the students to work with the 3D modelling platform Tinkercad . In this workshop students learnt the basics of this design platform.

10:00 Workshop 3D Scanning for VR & 3D Printing
Mr. Matúš (IT profesor of Mendelova SS) developed a workshop for the students to work with the 3D scanning techniques. In this workshop students learnt to scan 3d Object using a 3d Scanning machine to include them in their promotional materials. Finally some of the students were also scanned in the system.
10:00 Canva Workshop
In this workshop Students have been trainned in the use the tool Canva for postcard creation.
Postcards are a great promotion tool . Our students used the tool canva to create postcards with the photos of the Monday selfie Race with which Mendelova ss team created a wonderfull photos for our students.

Medelova ss team organiced a match of volleyball between schools in the Gym.

07:30 Departure to Olomouc
09:00 Visit to UPrint 3D Science and technology park in Olomouc
Our students could learn about the possibilities of the university of Olomouc
10:00 Workshop Professional 3d Printting Systems
UPrint 3D Laboratory is an inniciative of the Olomouc university to develop uses fo the more innovative 3D Printing systems. Prof Ondre S. showed us some interesting 3D printers like the big size plastic 3d printer which is similar to regular small 3d printer but used for more profesional tasks and a professional scanner used to digitalize prooducts
One of the more amazing uses of these materials was the printing of bones for backbone medical operations
The more interesting part of the workshop was the demostration of the use of the non standard 3d Machines like the metal carbon 3d Printer and the paper 3d printer.
12:00 Visit the City centre of Olomouc
Olomouc is one of the gems of Czech republic . Students had the chance to visit this beautiful town and monuments such as the altars , the astronomical clock or the cathedral.

15:00 Punkva caves and Macocha abyss
Punkva caves and Macocha abyss one of the most beautiful destinations in central europe.
one of the most beautiful places in the Brno area is Moravian Karst, protected nature reserve located near the town Blansko. Punkva Caves and Machocha Abyss, both incredibly beautiful natural settings
During the tour, you’ll see a variety of stalactites, stalagmite and column formations, including the largest stalactite column called Strážce. You will walk through different chambers and observe domes, as well as mirror pond which will make up for a perfect photo opportunity. finally we take a boat to navigate the last part of the cave and it was an unforgettable experience both for students and teachers.

09:00 Workshop 3D Creating of promotional subjects II. by Mr. Glogar
Mr. Glogar(IT profesor of Mendelova SS) developed the second part of workshop for the students to work with the 3D scanning techniques. In this workshop students learnt how to transform the 3D obj designs to curated 3d Objects with physical characteristics like filament typology, densitiy and other to be printed in a 3d printer to use them as promotional materials. Finally some of the students who were previously scanned in 3D were printed

10:00 Cultural Promotion of Hats in Novy Jicin in the Traditional hats museum
Hats were the traditional industry of Novy Jicin where best of the european hats in the XIX century were fabricated. Nowadays , it´s not so important as it was but it’s a cultural refernce in the region and in this museum we learnt how this city has used this old industy as a cultural and turistic promotion.

Polar TV, regional television of Moravian region make an interview to some of our students and teachers about its experience in the PIM Erasmus+ Project.
12:00 Certification ceremony
Mendelova team prepared a emotive ceremony in the city hall dependencias. where Students recived a Certification document which probed their participation in the project.

Our students and teachers were very lucky to enjoy a wonderful walk in the mountains and climb to the fabulous Pustevny skywalk
