This page describes objectives and motivations of Promotion in Motion Erasmus project with code 2022-1-CZ01-KA210-000081871

With our project we would like to merge the school training and educational activities with the needs of local companies as well as improve and innovate the digital skills and competences of our students, teachers and implement all of it to our curricula. We want to emphasise the practical use of the knowledge and skills acquired at schools with the assistance of teachers and students of all three institutions, local businesses and other partners. To achieve these goals, we set very concrete objectives. During the course of the project, we will create:

Didactic CLIL units using digital tools will be produced to explain, teach and retain knowledge of subjects like those ones

a) Marketing and marketing promotion

b) Prezi presentation tools

c) Canvas platform and online marketing,

d) webpage creation,

e) Kuula virtual platform and virtual tours

f) Tinkercad program for programming 3D printer plus 3D scanner

In cooperation of teachers from all 3 institutions and educators from outside. The units will be implemented in workshops with students in international groups during mobilities and later at individual schools by both teachers and students present in international meetings to more students from the participating schools.

Our aim is that these units are later integrated in the curricula of all the schools and spread viral. All didactic units will be produced in English but will contain a dictionary in the national languages on the specific vocabulary. Within such a project, teachers may easily share and create web-based content which can be adapted by other users according to their specific objectives.

a) Complex promotional campaigns for local companies will be produced on the basis of research in local communities and excursions in them.

They will include:
a) promotional presentations and/or short videos of the company using Prezzi tools.
b) social media marketing using the Canva tools with different social media (e.g.Instagram, Facebook)
c) Webpage for the company
d) promotional or advertising objects for the companies printed on 3D printer
e) virtual tour of the company.
The products for the campaign will be created in the national languages, however, if the company finds it useful, they might be transformed into English.

b) Project web Platform . a webpage will be created for the project to present its schools, objectives, activities and disseminating the project.
c) Improve students chances. Another major objective is to inspire and educate preferably girls (especially in digital skills and 3D modelling), students whose educational performance is low and students that have economic barriers to enhance diversity and competitiveness. We want to change and balance forces. There will always be majority of girls participating in the activities and we will identify and include students struggling in their educational results or having economic disadvantage in all activities.

d) Improving communication skills in foreign languages and broadening the vocabulary of professional English (focused on marketing and ICT).

Project motivation

Educational development has entered the era of new technologies. Such innovation requires adjustment from our school system with the demand for working experience with ICT. In our schools we head towards ICT technologies but see that the field is developing rapidly and we need to broaden the repertory of digital tools and technology.

All the objectives of the project have relation to the horizontal priority – Addressing digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity, as we primarily feel the need to innovate the subjects at our schools with digital technologies and skills and widen the digital teaching, learning and equipment.
We will have workshops on different IT tools, programming, 3D printing and scanning or online marketing. There will be virtual or blended lessons and we will use the European Etwinning platform and Selfie.

We fulfil the VET priority of Contributing to innovation in vocational education, because we will closely cooperate with local companies and markets, thus making our school work more relevant to the current and future needs of the society.
We will combine economics, IT innovations and local companies research in order to improve the curricula of our schools across the subjects for longer period of time in the future. Our motivation is to find and engage the local companies that would help us develop appropriate VET schooling results (skills, knowledge).
The project also fulfils the horizontal priority Inclusion and diversity in fields of education, as it will target girls´ ICT skills, students that face educational difficulties and struggle in their performance. We will use cooperative learning procedures to integrate these students with the ones with better results. The project will also include economically disqualified students with a low standard of living, from families with low income, learners who need to work to support themselves or depend on the social welfare system.

Some of the expected end products will be in multilingual versions. They will be made available to all interested parties through the multichannel online platform under a Creative Commons licence. This open attitude allows our project to have an immediate impact on the target groups of other European educational centres, collaborating organisations and other interested parties.

Vocational school has a mission to prepare workforce who fills job requirements and qualified professionals expected to become a tool for business in facing global competition. A combination of theoretical learning in the classroom and practical learning in the companies is designed in such a way to shape graduates with certain quality who are ready to enter the workforce.

Success of vocational education is not only seen from its quality but also its relevance. It is inevitable that the schools cooperate closely with local businesses. Our schools have contacts with but in our opinion they are not yet sufficient.
