Educational Innovation: Advertising Promotion with Drones, an Opportunity for Programming in Educational Centers

The Playamar Secondary School, in its effort to promote innovation and technology in the educational field, has carried out an interesting initiative within the PIM E+ project (Educational Innovation Projects): the realization of advertising promotion with drones. This activity has not only sparked great interest among students but has also stood out for its valuable relationship with programming and technology.

Drones, known for their versatility and ability to perform various tasks, have found a new field of application in the advertising world. Thanks to their agility and ability to capture images from unique angles, they have become an ideal tool for creating impactful and original promotional content.

Within the framework of the PIM project, students at IES Playamar have had the opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of drones and programming. From designing and building their own drones to developing flight strategies and capturing images, students have actively participated in all stages of the process. This has not only allowed them to develop technical and creative skills but also to foster teamwork and problem-solving.

“The experience of working with drones has been truly enriching for our students,” comments A. The final activity with the drones has been the programming of several drones using the languaje python as can be seen in the last video.
